E-Commerce Marketing Assistant (Streetsboro, OH)

SUMMARY

The E-Commerce Marketing Assistant will work closely with the E-Commerce Sales & Marketing Manager as well as graphics, logistics, design, customer service and sales team. This includes, but is not limited to; new product additions, current product content updates, marketing promotions, asset management, and special offers. You will be responsible for delivering information across all web channels ensuring that corporate brand and marketing strategies are followed. The E-Commerce Marketing Assistant will partner with the sales & marketing team on all projects and initiatives and will be a key connecting partner to the Customer Service & Logistics team. We are looking for a self-motivated, strategic thinker and a team player with excellent communication skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, measure, analyze, report on all key performance indicators, and provide recommendations to leadership and sales as needed
  • Reviews transaction data, reports, customer feedback, and analytics; provides recommendations and assists in developing new strategies, offerings and initiatives to maximize sales.
  • Perform regular competitive benchmarking and recommend opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Analyze performance and impact of product and marketing investments with key accounts to determine impact and ROI
  • Maintain web-based distribution channels and brand content on the website
  • Assist in optimizing site cross-sells, site search, site speed, customer reviews/satisfaction score, personalization & segmentation
  • Daily Amazon administrative support including assistance with reporting, 3rd party monitoring, product listing/photo maintenance, among other tasks
  • Use SEO best practices to optimize content and stay up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, web usability and business/industry trends Work with the web manager to improve landing pages for paid and organic search
  • Capacity to handle tight and last-minute changes, adapt quickly and problem-solve independently
  • Respond to comments, questions and messages across social media platforms
  • Execute tactical marketing projects and assignments as necessary

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience related to retail sales & e-commerce
  • Experience analyzing and manipulating data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations
  • Demonstrate ability to write clear, concise, consistent, and accurate communications that conveys information that will influence sales and achieve marketing goals
  • Superior organizational/project management skills – ability to work on multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently and work effectively under pressure. Good follow-up skills
  • Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail with high work accuracy
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (Amazon Retail Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.) and e-commerce reporting a plus

  • Process EDI daily. Review, distribute and follow-up on EDI issues with appropriate departments

Product Sourcing Manager (Seattle, WA)

The Product Sourcing Manager is responsible for coordinating efforts across multiple departments to drive effective and efficient product introduction. This role will interface with sales, design, art, and procurement teams. Overseas and Domestic travel required; 20%.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned Brand projects from Sourcing RFQ through production and final inspection.
  • Negotiate and communicate first project costs with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and Drive various projects within the Workfront system to keep project on tracked timeline. Proactively communicate potential delays and strategize to put project back on projected timeline.
  • Ensure products within your assigned Brands are compliant with required regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with assistance as necessary.
  • Drive packaging kick off meetings with design team to ensure timelines are met.
  • Create and issue Brand specific packaging instructions and maintain Brand guideline docs.
  • Daily Supplier communications: facilitation of packaging artwork, issuing revisions or product & packaging approvals, negotiating final price.
  • Final QA gatekeeper working with factory to solve after-market product improvements required.
  • Deliver absolute best cost, safe product with high quality control standards and fast delivery.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and support achievement of team initiatives and maintain exceptional attendance.

Experience Requirements & Job Skills

Fast-paced company is currently seeking an organized, motivated, and highly energetic individual to join our organization. The primary focus of this position is to ensure a superior level of customer service through high order fill rates and effective utilization of company inventories.

The ideal candidate must have supply chain experience that includes:

 Warehouse - Production, Shipping and Receiving: 1st and 2nd (Streetsboro, OH)

Position Description:

We are looking for both full and part-time workers that thrive in a fast-paced, team environment. The ideal candidate is motivated, has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Hiring for Production, Shipping and Receiving on our 1st and our 2nd Shifts. Our 2nd shift works 4 – 10 hour days per week (Monday – Thursday). Shift premium applies.

Required Experience:

  • Experience preferred in Warehouse Operations
  • Forklift and RF Scanner experience (for Shipping) a plus but not necessary
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
